THANKS for your generous support last year: $570 was received in dues and donations, and $525 was raised at the annual garage sale.

Our biggest expense last year was $1824 for painting the schoolhouse. Other expenses were $525 for insurance and $238 for gravel. Remaining funds are accumulated for maintenance projects, which may vary from large to small.

There are no big renovation projects planned for this year, though we are beginning to think about replacing the front porch steps and adding a higher railing in the center.

Currently, the website fees including hosting and domain name registration have been donated by Joe Crockett.

Soap Creek Schoolhouse Foundation Membership

Membership in the Soap Creek Schoolhouse Foundation is open to anyone, regardless of where they live. Annual dues are $10. Members receive notices of activities by email, telephone, or a mailed annual newsletter.  

A board of directors governs the Foundation in keeping with Oregon State regulations for non-profit organizations. Board members must live within the 1938 boundary of the Soap Creek School District 32.
